Those who visit Jamaica are often swept away by the breathtaking waterfalls that are located on the Island.  The most famous waterfall is located in Ocho Rios and is called the Dunn’s River Falls.  Dunn’s River Falls is distinct from any other waterfall that you will find in the world.  This unique waterfall that is close to the sea, is often considered to be not only an existing but developing wonder.  The Dunn’s River Falls is continually in the process of regenerating itself.  It regenerates from the deposits found in the travertine rock.  The rocks that are apart of the falls often reminds people of a limestone cave.  You can swim in the elegant pools that form at the base of the falls, and feel refreshed from the water.

The other falls that you can see are the Mayfield Falls and Y.S Falls.  In order to gain access to these falls it is a guided days journey from Negril.  There are a number of whirlpools and swimming holes located in the area of over 20 different mini waterfalls that make up Mayfield.

The Y.S. Falls would be the favorite of any nature enthusiast.  Here you will experience the beauty of these waterfalls that pool into a natural, untouched and unspoiled environment.  It is a perfect place to experience the peace and relaxation that only nature can provide.
